Saturday 17th June 2017

Amity sang at the Jersey Academy of Music (JAM) Summer Fayre and Awards afternoon. The event was a great success raising approximately £3000 to go towards future Academy projects



We sang Duncan Miller's piece, A Summer Nocturne, for the second time in public in our first set of music in the Chapel.

The choir sang at 16, New Street for the third year in succession and, in a first for the choir, sang live on Channel ITV News!

The choir sang a mixture of seasonal pieces from our repertoire at Stuart Court, an MHA residential home


5th and 6th November 2017

The choir sang in the 2017 Eisteddfod Festival.

On the 5th, in the Town Church, the choir won the Stanley Sackett Memorial Trophy and achieved a Gold Certificate. The choir sang Christus est Stella by Will Todd, Super Flumina Babylonis by Palestrina and A Celtic Prayer by Barry Peters

On the 6th, at the Jersey Opera House, the choir achieved a Silver Certificate in singing in Class 278 for Mixed Voices. The choir sang Water of Tyne by Trad. Arr. by Michael Neaum, Ce Beau Printemps by Mark Sirett and Somebody talkin’ about Jesus by Trad spiritual Arr by Gibbs.

The choir also sang an original composition by one of its own members, A Summer Nocturne by Duncan Miller in Class 175,  for Over 18s.
